A LIAN LI and PCMasterRace Collaboration
LIAN LI’s PC-O11 Dynamic was one of the most popular products on the market and BLKSODA was tasked with launching a special edition. A compelling story was needed for a product that was held in high regard by the community. By reaching out and getting involved with the PCMasterRace Reddit group, we received valuable feedback from members of the community who knew best.

Support from PCMasterRace
We got support from PCMasterRace, a subreddit group with over 4.5 million members, to participate in the design feedback. Members of the community voted and gave valuable feedback on what eventually became the PC-O11 Dynamic special edition. Public voting was conducted to get the opinion of the community on the preferred finish of the O11 Dynamic.
Community Feedback
Once the votes were tallied up, LIAN LI moved forward with the development of the reflective chromed effect on the body and glass of the product (something never attempted by a manufacturer in the past). Updates were provided to show the community on the progress development of the special edition product.
Immersive Content
The full webpage was designed to capture the premium appeal of the product, through strong visuals and in-depth descriptions. We also incorporated realistic 3D renderings to show the full chromatic effect of the product.
Engaging on Social Media
A complete social media campaign lead to the product selling out in North America over a weekend. The exclusivity and unique aesthetic of the case generated buzz and conversations, with many PCMR members and customers eager to share images and videos of their new O11D Special Edition case across social media.
Media and Influencers
Reaching out to a full network of media and influencers, the O11 Dynamic special edition case got the attention of the public. A product that had been introduced for a few years back, once again became a hot topic of discussion.
